The FP 508 pneumatic clipper allows the sealing of bags by applying a 50 mm "Clip" fastener, consisting of two plastic-coated metal wires. The operation is very simple: the bag collar is inserted into the machine’s nozzle, and the operator activates the cycle by pressing a control pedal. The cycle is automatic, and the process is very fast (about one second). The clip is cut, positioned around the collar in a “U” shape, and then closed on itself to ensure the bag is sealed. The autonomy is significant, as a 600-meter roll of fasteners ensures 15,000 sealing operations.
